    That's exactly how it was meant to be used. The original poster didn't include my examples from the readme file: The actual download link with always the latest version is http://cherrytree.at/downloads/ctep.zip by the way. (If you use "This Event" in a common event which has never been called by a map event, e.g. because it was activated by a switch directly, then it will still crash.)
